Florida Title & Registration
Florida title and registration work is where small record problems surface: a name that doesn't match, a hull number off by one character, a prior lien never released, or an out-of-state title that was never properly assigned.
We prepare and submit the paperwork, identify what the record actually requires, and work through discrepancies rather than resubmitting the same application.

- Florida vessel registration

- Out-of-state transfers
- Private-party transfers
- Duplicate and replacement documentation
- Trailer title and registration matters where applicable
Hull Identification Number discrepancies
When the HIN on a title, a Bill of Sale, a builder's paperwork, and the hull itself do not all agree, the record has to be reconciled through the proper process. A HIN is not something to adjust so that documents match — it identifies the vessel.
Documented vessels and state registration
Federal documentation does not automatically remove a state registration requirement. Whether registration applies depends on how and where the vessel is used and stored, and on the requirements of the state involved.
Tax at the time of title or registration
Sales and use tax questions frequently come up at the moment of titling or registering. We explain what the agencies require and coordinate collection or remittance in a closing, and we refer clients to a CPA or tax professional when advice is needed.
